Essex Physical Therapy has completed construction on the first in the nation PRI (Postural Restoration Institute) Priori Pool! This pool features multiple PRI patented stations for use in postural rehabilitation. Our goal is to get patients to integrate postural concepts more quickly into their daily lives, thus helping them achieve their rehabilitative goals in fewer visits. Our History
Essex Physical Therapy is the business trade name established in 2001 for LeClair Therapy Inc. Estelle LeClair, MPT is the owner and founder of LeClair Therapy, Inc.
Estelle is a native Vermonter and a graduate of Springfield College, where the motto is Spirit, Mind and Body. The practice was established with the goal of offering our clients the kind of personal experience Estelle found while attending Physical Therapy school at Springfield: kindness, compassion, and an individualized learning experience. With this approach, we find the most successful outcomes in as few visits as possible. Our physical therapists attend continuing education courses throughout the year to ensure the most up-to-date knowledge in Physical Therapy.
Essex Physical Therapy offers two convenient locations to provide personalized and professional care to the surrounding community. Compassionate, one-on-one care given by highly trained and knowledgeable staff, guides our commitment to providing the best quality care to a diverse population.Essex Physical Therapy is offering the aquatic environment to patients for treatment of postural imbalances. This innovative pool is the first of its' kind and features multiple PRI patented stations that are used in the rehabilitation of structural joint dysfunction and related postural issues. The pool stations will help to restore functions of rotational movement, reciprocal movement patterns of upper and lower extremities, abdominal stabilization, reduce lumbar compression, and work to improve knee and ankle instability. This technology will bring aquatic therapy to a new level of sophistication with the goal of getting patients to integrate postural concepts more quickly into their everyday lives and ultimately helping them to achieve their rehabilitation goals in fewer visits, thus saving money for the client and often their insurance company. We are excited to offer this technology to our Essex community and to Vermont.
